Dana : The Gift of Generosity
In the Buddhist teachings, Giving with pure motivation is called Dana Parami (Pali), which means perfection of giving.
Dana is not payment for goods or services rendered; it is given from the heart. Willingness to give without regret and with joy, and to give without expectation of reward.
Course Finances
In the Buddhist tradition the teachings are given freely to all who are interested.
Our retreats are offered freely, as gifts to those who attend—there is no cost. Donations by those who attend make it possible to pass this gift forward to others who come to BBMC. We are entirely supported by a community of teachers, practitioners, volunteers and donors whose generosity is the foundation for the center. With no paid staff and run entirely by volunteers, our retreats express the integration of practice, service, and goodwill of all who participate.
We are grateful for your support and are inspired by how beautifully dhamma practice develops when it does so in a field of generosity and gratitude.
Donations are tax-deductible.
